Seawish works because strangers are gentle with one another. You can’t reply, follow or see who anyone is — so every note is simply a small kindness sent into the world. Please keep it that way.

Write notes that help

• Share a confession, a wish, a thank-you, a comfort or a small win.
• Imagine a stranger who might need exactly these words today.

Please don’t

• Harass, threaten or spread hate.
• Share personal information — yours or anyone else’s.
• Post spam, ads or links.
• Send sexual or explicit content.
• Encourage self-harm. If you’re struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or a local helpline.

Keeping the shore clean

Notes are screened before they sail. If something still slips through, tap report or block — it disappears from your shore right away and is reviewed. Thank you for helping every stranger feel a little less alone.
